CIPR Membership

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) offers a range of membership grades. CIPR members can all select to join a sectoral group as part of their membership and their regional group. Regional groups represent members around the UK while sectoral groups represent members working in specific sectors, industries or areas of public relations nationally. We are a sectoral group currently representing over 300 members of the CIPR.

While non-members can attend our events, CIPR members benefit from additional discounts and communications, and the opportunity to stand for election to become a member of the Group’s committee, helping to shape the direction of the PR profession in the sector.

Members all gain access to the full range of CIPR member benefits, which includes:

  • discounts on CIPR events
  • access to a central London base with the CIPR member rooms
  • access to an extensive range of member-only resources and guides
  • subscription to PR Week
  • CPD scheme and professional recognition of being part of a professional membership body
  • many more benefits…

Join the committee

A committee of volunteers steers the direction and activities of the Education & Skills Sector Group. Members are elected at the Group’s Annual General Meeting, which typically takes place in the Winter. The last AGM took place on 7 February 2013. If you are interested in becoming involved with the committee in future, please contact Louise Jaggs, the Group’s Chair.
